Turkey Recipe

Here is a turkey recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a
stuffing – imagine that. When I found this recipe, I thought it was
perfect for people like me, who just aren't sure how to tell when
poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. Give this a try – it
works every time.
8 - 15 lb. turkey
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is good.)
1 cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT)
Salt/pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush turkey well with melted butter salt, and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven.
Depending on the size of the turkey (3-5 hours), start listening for the popping sounds. When the turkey's butt blows the oven door open and the bird flies across the room, it's done.
And, you thought I couldn't cook ... HAPPY THANKSGIVING

And while you're stuffing, you can take this quiz.
I got 12 out of 20, not bad considering how many pure guesses I made.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to thanksgiving.
I got only 10 out of 20 even having seen the answer to the first one (which I got wrong!
I am also looking forward to Thanksgiving! Thanks to a generous benefactor who appeared in my life out of the blue from 25 years ago this past spring I have all my bills paid and money to actually cook a decent meal this year. He has taken the monkey of poverty right off my back and has promised to be there to ease my burden!
Truly I am thankful for the blessings we have received!!!

Wow, that's great! God has indeed blessed you and He has blessed your benefactor as well.
As for the original post, you do realize a meat thermometer would be a bit easier?
