After watching the first video I don't know if I'll be able to sit through the rest. Words can't really express the sadness I feel deep in my heart when I hear people talk about "hate what Allah hates"
Does hate befit the most Merciful?

I just don't know what to say....

this is why it is important for us to know Islam and interpret it with care, not putting too much faith in an organization, group or scholar (individual).

Many salafis (wahabis) are like this. We have seen some of them come on this forum and do the same. They will talk peace and love and all kinds of roses, even earn your respect with a vast display of talk and knowledge, but then they turn at some point when they feel their is an audience for their agenda and spew hate, support violence and all kinds of backwards things that are not in the Quran nor the Prophet (pbuh) taught.

I know that the dispatches program does take some things out of context (after all a television show has to cut things down to a few sound bites and hold an audience), but some things are not, and in this case, I can see cause for concern for non-Muslims and Muslims alike.

Missy, would it be --uh--safe to complain about these private groups?

How are people notified of them?

Do you give money to this mosque?

Am I the nosiest person you've ever had the misfortune to deal with?

Rhoda, I have seen fights break out at Mosques over ideology. One of the Mosques in Southwest Houston, someone had hired two Mexicans to beat the pulp out of the director of the Mosque.

Safe? You're taking your chances sometimes.

However, until Muslims take a stand against extremists and criminals in our communities, and do some in-house clean up, they will always have the upper hand and the non-Muslim authorities (and general public) will always scrutinize us extra carefully and cautiously.

I tend to think the problem, for the most part, does not lie with the Mosque administration as much as it does with groups that operate their own programs in the Mosques. That being said, the administrations should step up and scrutinize these groups more before allowing them to run programs.

Didnt Allah already warn them in Quran about people who call themselves believe in Allah while they make mischief in land?
Or they choose to ignore that part..?
If Allah hate jews and christian so much there wouldnt be 2:62 and His command would be "ayats about war must be applied in every circumstances".

I can only watch first video partially, and my internet connection refuses me to view the second to fifth videos.. Ill watch the rest next time.

The lady's statement, around 9:35, turned my stomach... It is incredible how they can justify themselves in following this Saudi cult, rather than think for themselves. Makes me wonder if they've actually ever read the Quran for themselves, or if they've always just had it read to and interpreted for them. Their minds and hearts are shut off, they seem to be nothing more than drones, or robots, used to spread the hateful rubbish of Saudi teachings.

I've only watched the first video. May watch more later... dunno yet.

Hi/Salaam again

Ok, ill try an answer some of the questions asked , at me, that is.

You know not once have i heard any speeches like the ones above at the mosque, they are usually very peaceful and yes they do talk about the average Muslim persons struggle in this society, but never to that extent above. I remember going to a talk once at the mosque, and the word 'compromise' kept on coming up, the speaker was saying although its hard to live here and not be treated like a terrorist on ever occasion you go out. Just learn to ignore, this is what Jihad is, not some holy war, not strapping some electrical device to oneself, but a jihad in actually living a normal peaceful life,.

Trying to coexist.

I have never been to a talk like the one above, and you guys know me, id be the 1st to stand up and shout' I don't think so'!

And no i don't give money to the Mosque Rhoda, because its not my local one, this is in Birmingham where i have attended but i live way far out from there now.

The thing is, this is not just going be in our local mosques its everywhere, you can complain and they can stop the talks but the people who are conducting these speeches of hate will just go elsewhere, London, Manchester, Yorkshire.

And what?, you think its just here in Britain, no, its worldwide.

And that's why we need forums like this one, who have normal Muslims like me, Jim Rach, Elji, Kayak, Jana, just the one's who want to practice their religion, abide by it and just leave peacefully in the world, and to try and answer any misconceptions about Islam.

You get this c.rap all over the place.

And no im not going to hire any Mexicans to beat up the local imam up.. i don't actually know any Mexicans, i some Iraqis who are slightly tapped, will they do?

I found it interesting (and a little bit funny) that Umm Whatsisname is telling women it's their duty to not take/give up British citizenship and emigrate to a Muslim country. How long has she lived in Britain, exactly? Why doesn't she lead by example in this regard? It's a little bit like American Zionists, but that's another article.

And for the Saudis to promote such nonsense is little more than a farce. When is King Abdullah going to start signing for the millions and millions of work visas for all the people who are supposed to leave their homes and move to his kingdom? My guess is: never.

Hi again,

Thanks Rhoda, i got 'Misbah The One' form you know The Matrix 'The One' Neo.. love that film.. lol

Also i would like to describe a little on what is this a 'Fundamentalist'

I mean a fundamentalist can be many things, its usually a person who follows and adheres to the fundamentals of doctrine or theory he is following. Aright for a person to be a good doctor, he should know, follow, and practice the fundamentals of medicines.

In other words he should be a fundamentalist in the field of medicine.

You know not all fundamentalist are the same. One simply cannot paint all fundamentalist with the same brush and one cannot certainly categorise all fundamentalists as either good or bad. Such categorisation of any fundamentalist will depend of the field of activity in which he is a fundamentalist!

Now a fundamentalist robber you know a thief, causes harm to society and is therefore undesirable, but a fundamentalist doctor on the other hand benefits society and earns some respect.

So I'm trying to explain i might be a fundamentalist but for good and those guys above are also fundamentalist but for bad, do you get me? sorry if im confusing, but im just trying to explain.
