Yeah... he scares my mom and my kids, and my sister. Tries to scare me, lol, but it doesn't work. Some things he has done:

He will walk by so you see him for a second, going from a room to the bathroom, sitting on a bed, walking in front of the tv.

In my kids' room, my son and mom were playing video games, and he pushed the toybox back a few inches, scaring the crap out of them.

He makes noises, that seem to come from every room at the same time. Can't blame that one on the neighbors!

In the bath one day, the bodywash bottle started to shake back and forth (almost falling over) as if someone thumped it. Also, random things will fall or make noises in the bathroom while no one is in there.

There will be noises that only two or three people at a time will hear.

Random things will fall from the refridgerator, or the TV, or other places...

To me, it isn't scary... even my kids sometimes think it's funny! But there are times when someone gets really scared from something that's happened. I guess I can laugh cuz I don't sleep at night anyway, and get to hear the things that have happened sometimes when I get home from work smiley4.gif

Yeah, Jon, for real.... but, growing up with stuff like that, it just gives me a good laugh now.

RunicWarrior, what's the salt for? What does it do? I don't wanna make him mad, lol!

When I was younger, stuff like this used to scare me... but, I try to tell my kids it's nothing to be scared about. My sister, on the other hand, ah I love to scare her!

Assallamu alaikum sis,

If you want to get rid of the jinn, read surah al baqarah in your house. Also, do rukyah on the house by reciting the three quls and ayah al kursi over some water. Go around the house and sprinkle it in all the corners. The Jinn is in fact disobeying Allah by making contact with you and your family. So, you'll be doing him a favour by showing him the door! ;-)

Ok seriously... We read Quran and all... never tried the reciting over water, as it just seemed kinda like a Catholic 'blessing with holy water' thing.

My word what a thing ...... I know I'm in a new house (to me) and there are all the house noises to get used to, but your experience seems to go beyond that. I think If I was sure I had a 'presence' cohabiting with me I would be very uncomfortable bordering on scared. I simply admire the way you are handling the situation.

Have you tried making contact? Asked it what it wants? Prayer etc .... pray for it?

Don't knock the Holy Water stuff Rachel ...... get a friendly catholic to bless your house for you?

Now there's a bridge building exercise!! smiley29.gif
