I looked up 'Jinn experiences' today, and I found some really creepy stories which I will post later.

I was wondering if anyone of you had any kind of indirect/direct experiences, or just very weird encounters with something supernatural, or heard of something that happened to someone else.

Whether you believe in the 'unseen' or not, this might be a fun place to share some freaky stories.

yes, I once played a game with my friends which involved jinn. Bring a couple of chairs and arrange them like a bed, then somebody lies and ask 7 of yr friends to put 2 fingers (forefinger of each hand) under different parts of you body ( head, armpits, knees and legs) then each takes turn to say smth and then you rise from the chair. If you laugh or talk or scream then the spell breaks and you fall on your arse! giggle.gif

lol shopping in Sainsbury's won't be the same again..

Weird seeing this thread, I had a Jinn experience just last night, I'm convinced we have a Jinn in our house, actually I'm pretty sure of it as another jinn confirmed it to a friend (that's another story). Something in our house keeps hiding things. Last night I was about to go upstairs to bed but my mum called me for something, I put my phone on one of the steps (bottom of stairs) then went to see mum, gone for literally 20 secs. Came back and my phone was gone, it was kinda chilling at first but then got cheesed off trying to look for it. Eventually found it on one of the top steps.

I have a theory that this jinn followed us from Bangladesh many years ago. When I was around 8 we lived in B'desh for couple of years. One night me and my mates were about to go to a talk in the mosque, I didn't have my sandles so went home to get them, my friends went without me. It took me ages trying to find my sandles so by the time I went out they were long gone, it was a dark night..... I was making my way to the mosque and had to pass this creepy forest on my left. I kept looking into it and then something caught my eye in the trees, I stopped and went up close to get a good look. I saw a little girl wearing a bright red sari sitting on a high up branch rocking back and forth..... my Bengali *** ran like a mad man leaving my flip flops behind. Got to the mosque and the talk had started, some uncle had a go at me and told me to sit down. I don't remember what happend next, must have passed out during the talk. Woke up in bed with people all around me, my left hand had swollen up like a baloon!!

Nothing as damatic as that happend since, probably 2 or 3 incidents a year, usually something like my calculator goes missing and truns up in funny places. Kind of stuff a cheeky kid would do....

this happened to a cousin of mine.

she was in her room brushing her hair, it was just after maghrib as well. While brushing, the brush fell out of her hand, so she bent over to pick it up, when she got up she looked at the mirror...in the mirror she was still bent over...
she closed her eyes and opened them and the mirror was fine, but there was something black in the corner of the mirror so she looked back, there was nothing there, she looked again at the mirror there was a woman there dressed in black. scared she looked behind her again and this time the lady was almost in her face - staring back at her!...the lady's face was sooo dirty u could hardly see any features and her hair was blown up in tangles....cousin screamed and the lady screamed with her...and from then something happened to her...she was possessed! she went round the house screaming and wailing...and it scared everyone in the house....they had to call a fir to do stuff to the house and what not.

cousins not been the same ever since....shes better now but its left her changed totally...her character her attitude...

I cant disclose much about location, but an incident occured on Tuesday morning. Me and a colleague (my manager) were assigned to open up an office on our own, at another site. I cant reveal where exactly but within tower hamlets. a very popular community venue - thats all im sayin!!
I went into the office and started the computer, my colleague walked into a back room to get more keys, to open a few more doors up. Next thing u know, she started screamin my name, i thought she must have seen a mouse or something, but she didnt. it was something else.

My colleague who is a very intelligent and rational individual had a scary encounter. when she went to get the keys, she realised she picked up the wrong set, so she went back into the room to get the right set. as she did, apparently a large black shadow, quite prominently dark rushed past her, and into the end of the room - the closet room. she heard a rustling sound, and came screaming out. when she told me what happened, we both agreed to leave the building. so we both walked out, and called the guy that usually manages the site. he came down, and investigated the 'apparition' and its whereabouts but found nothing. he found it a laughing matter and thought we were bein typical women. anyways, to prove his fearless manly-self, he said he will sit in that particular room, and do his work until lunch time - after which he had to be somewhere else. anyways, we said fine, so long as we have someone else in the building, we can manage. as the day progressed, the office got busier. around lunch time, it started going all quiet again. the male colleague also was gettin ready to leave. so both me and my manager decided to leave too. it was just me and her, and we were closing up the office again to return to our original site. anyways, to cut a long story short, AS SOON as she locked the fire exit door, we both heard a rustly-chainy sound, it was like a heavy chain being dragged against the floor. wallahi i heard this and ran for the door! it was such a distinctive sound, and definitely didnt come from any where else but that place!

i dont even think we closed up properly, just ran into her car and left!! it was well scary!!

anyways, the incident has been reported to management, and currently we are waiting for that particular office to be blessed by an imam or something! no way are we gonna go back there again. and wallahi since then, i havent been sleepin right, i feel like something is watchin me!

as if things couldnt get any worse; i have recently been placed on a secondment to support a partner organisation. the new work place is based in an old building - king henry the 8th's hunting house. the place is listed, and has several preserved features. whilst the main office is modern and up to date, the rest of the building looks like something out of a horror film. the organisation has preserved most of the features in the building. the toilet is based in the cellar... a dark staircase leading down to it, with a very very feint light. wallahi no exhaggeration there! if only i could show u a pic!! u wud rather wet ur pants than use the toilets. i am not usually scared of these things, but yesterday i drank too much, and just couldnt go to the loo. i was strugglin. everytime i tried to make my way there, jus walkin towards the stairs put me off. colleagues have advised me that the ladies room is really nice, but i cant be asked to go down them stairs to see for myself.
i turned back at least 3 times yesterday... and i didnt think it was very professional to ask a colleague to come with me. in the end, i had to take the keys to upstairs, a locked up floor - which isnt used much, other than for conferences. there is a ladies room there.... even that was scary... but at least it had windows.

today i have been managing as i didnt drink too much, and i was in a meeting at another site... made use of the ladies room there before heading here...

i mean who would make a toilet in the celler??? come on man!! thats just not right!

who's been to oxford house in bethnal green? i remember i had an event there a while back, it was in the evening. the ladies room was in the basement - but luckily my husband was with me... made him wait outside for me ...

Another story my granddad told me, when he was young during Quran class the Mesab asked this boy to fetch his umbrella for him. The boy sat and kept reciting the Quran, the Imam called again and the boy, still sitting down, stretched his arm across the room (Dhalsim stylee http://www.linkmesh.com/imagenes/temas/ ... _flaco.jpg) and grabbed the umbrella. The room was silent, the boy realised what he done and just ran off.

By sunshine:

Salaam,

I am going to share a story on which I might not be able to recall back properly...............
Us four sisters who share a room.
Please visulise this as I find it quite scary even now when I recall what had happened.

We had a bunk bed were one person slept at the top and two at the bottom and then you have the single bed were I slept.

One crazy June or July summer night or early morning to some few years back.....

My youngest sister was at the top and the other two on the bottom and obviously me in the single bed.......
Doors closed.....
Parents in their room....
Brother in his room and then we had the other brother downstairs.......

There were a lot of things happening at that period of time in my life, lets not go in details but this how it goes......

Every ones asleep....

At one point I woke up for no reason, my sister woke up the same time but none of us knew if the other was awake as we didn't seem to make any movements or speech.
My sister and I both heard something move but didn't bother looking around that's when..........................couple of moments later I heard this loud noise in my ear as though some one had screamed and a sense of air in my ear.
I screamed with all might and guess what my sisters all screamed at the same time.......

I know you are probably thinking .......yeah and what?

It was not an ordinary day getting scared, it was very scary at that time because as we all four were screaming none of us were able to move out of our position it was as if we were paralysed, while we all were screaming the house down my youngest Alhamdulilah was telling us to start reciting but us the other three didn't response to her so she carried on reciting yet she was still in her place...................this happened for quite awhile meaning for atleast 10 minutes..........we were improsined in our own room..............you may ask were are my parents?
Well they were still were in their room trying to get out...........but were not able to do anything.......
My brother next door apparently didn't here us!!

At this moment I am trying to reach for the door but to no avail..........

My brother from downstairs heard us some time later......he was running up the stairs(13 steps) which he claims took forever......finally when he came upsatirs my parent follwed him behind and then the other one came out as they move towards our door they all claim they were being stopped by some sort of force from allowing them to come forward.......while we were still in the room screaming the house down..........finally when they opened the door..................we all were so disorientated as to what went through that moment.

We all went out of the room scared and that't when we all narrated our version to each other...SubanAllah.....!!!
According to my sisters they all felt the air in their ears and the sound which made them scream.
They all felt paralysed.
The remaining people outside the room were held back by a force!
After that incident we decided to sleep downstairs for a long time and at that moment had Imam check the room out.
I GOT RID OF THE BUNK BED, REDECORATED THE ROOM and Alhamdulillah it has been good so far since we came back from umra

To this day it is a mystery as to what had happend

Well, Im told not to talk about jinns or anything related to that matter but I don't care that much as I am only afraid of Allah sbuh. And I'm only 17 so I have a lot to learn in my life smile.gif

So here I go,
One time when I was a child, I went to my Grandparents' house in Kashmir(Pakistan) for Eid (festival) and all of my family was there. It was time for us to eat food at night and we all would gather in one room and eat, my aunt had just told me to call my elder sister who was always on the phone so I ran to go look for her. Suddenly I saw her with her hair down and it was wet and she was leaving the house from the front door, I called out and said " (her name) come back the food is ready" and she said she'll be back. I thought to myslef why would she go out at 10 at night in KASHMIR with all the wild dogs and the mountain so high up. As soon as I turned around, she was standing behind me telling me to stop screaming and come eat food.
I was so scared I though i was hallucinating because i was also sick. Now that i look back on that incident, I know it actaully happened but i still doubt it 2%

There are lots of suras in Quran, where it mentions jinn and ins!

Please provide the English language translation for jinn and ins?
